HTH® COLOUR INDICATOR FILTER CLEANER 450 GR

INDICATIONS:

• Color change from purple to yellow when the filter is clean;
• Enhances filtration;
• Extends the life of sand;
• Cleans all types of swimming pool filters. 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE*. USE ONLY AS FOLLOWS:

*based on a 50 000 L swimming pool

FOR SAND FILTERS & NON-REMOVABLE ELEMENTS FILTERS

1. Backwash filter. Turn off pump;
    
2. Unscrew and remove the top lid of the filter;
    
3. Place multidoor valve on Waste and let the water drain out of the filter;
    
4. Place multidoor valve in closed position;
    
5. Pour the pre-mixed filter cleaner solution into the filter so that it covers the filter sand;
    
6. Let it rest for 12 hours;
    
7. Replace filter cover and tighten screws;
    
8. Place multidoor valve into backwash position
    
9. Turn on the pump and backwash until the water from the backwash tube is clean (approximately 2 min). Rinse filter for approximately 1 min.

FOR CARTRIDGE FILTERS & FILTERS WITH REMOVABLE COMPONENTS:

1. Stop filtration and drain all the water from the filter;
    
2. Remove components and place them in a plastic bucket with enough filter cleaning solution to cover the components for 12 hours;
    
3. Drain, rinse thoroughly with warm water until it is brightened, and put it back in the filter;
    
4. Resume normal filtration routine
